Congratulations to the Lebanon
Middle School 2008 Girls Sagamore Conference Champions! The
girls scored an amazing 546 points to capture an uncontested
victory. Individual Conference championships went to Kailyn
Stogsdill in the 200 Freestyle (2:11.12). Jackie McMasters
rebroke her 100 IM record with a time of (1:09.05). McMasters
also captured the 400 freestyle distance crown with a time of
(4:39.45) Lauren Reifel won the diving competitions the evening
before with a score of 125.75. The girls broke a school record
while winning the 200 Freestyle Relay. Kailyn Stogsdill, Alex
Kutz, Hannah Smith and Jackie McMasters won with a time of
1:58.43. The girls 400 Freestyle Relay was also crowned
Conference Champs. K. Stogsdill, McKenzie Wall, Tonda Lee and
J. McMasters and set a new school record with a time of
4:17.58.
Points were scored for top 16 places. Tigersharks finishing in
the top 8 for the girls were: 200 Medley Relay A. Kutz, Nina
Wornhoff, T. Lee, and M. Wall(2:20.29) 3rd place; 200 Medley
Relay (B) H. Smith, Becky Wornhoff, Kayla Haston, L.
Reifel(2:31.27) 7th Place; Becky Wornhoff 200

Wornhoff, K. Reynolds, R. Bennington, and N. Wornhoff (4:53.36)
4th place.
The Boys Lebanon Middle School Swimming and Diving team finished
an impressive 3rd place overall with only 10 boys. Conference
champions were Chris Anderson in the 200 Freestyle (2:08.37) and
400 Freestyle (4:30.22). Seventh grader Aaron Younglove also
reigns as the Sagamore Conference 100 Backstroke Champ by
winning with a time of 1:08.21. The boys 400 Freestyle Relay
team of Chris Anderson, Cameron Howe, Garrett Goff and Joe
Woodruff took home a title with a time of (4:04.59).
Top 8 Finishes by the boys includes the 200 Medley Relay team of
A. Younglove, Nate Wolf, G. Goff, and Clay Gould (2:23.70) 5th
place; Garrett Goff 200 Freestyle (2;24.26) 3rd place; Cameron
Howe 100 IM (1:09.90) 2nd place, A. Younglove (1:13.10) 5th
place; Joe Woodruff (27.21) 50 Freestyle 4th place; Garrett Goff
50 butterfly (33.63) 6th place; Joe Woodruff 100 Freestyle
(1:02.03) 4th place; Nate Wolfe 400 Freestyle (5:31.27) 6th
place; 200 Freestyle Relay J. Woodruff, A. Younglove, C. Howe
and C. Anderson (1:50.64) 2nd place, C. Howe 100 Backstroke
(1:08.34) 2nd place.
